Wine Tasting at at Castello di Montepò : The Castle of Montepò is located in the Scansano countryside, in the center of Tuscany, with a view of Maremma in Grosseto. The business and vineyards that are known for producing Sangiovese Grosso BBS 11 (Brunello Biondi Santi) and the plantation of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
The visit: First of all, I’d like to express my gratitude to Mr. Tancredi Biondi Santi, who oversees Castello di Montepò, and Denise Caricati, the hospitality manager, for the invitation and wine tasting. Well, the more I talk about the castle and vineyards, the less it is. Built in the middle ages in 1000, with 600 hectares of total area, this structure is still standing and offers a fantastic view of wine grape plantations, where the fields have become famous vineyards. A once-in-a-lifetime wine tasting experience with numerous adventures.

Session of Tasting: The amazing tasting of seven Castello di Montepò wines. From 2016 to 2020, vintages. Schidione, Sassoalloro, Sassoalloro ORO, and JeT IGT Toscana Rosé. The 50 hectares of vineyards on the estate are only used to make Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and a special, unique clone of Sangiovese. The elements behind the world’s most important and well-known Tuscan wine brands are the one-of-a-kind terroir, legendary fields, and prestigious winemaking.
