Fantini Group Farnese: Established in 1994 by Filippo, Valentino and Camillo in the town of Ortona, Abruzzo, the core of Mediterranean. With an extraordinary strategy and exceptionally inventive thought, today it is the biggest “Boutique Winery” in Italy. The grapes are painstakingly chosen by a group of youthful winemakers, ensuring that their wines are appreciated everywhere in the world. The group’s prosperity has extended from Abruzzo to Puglia, Campania, Basilicata, Sicily and Tuscany. 

Montepulciano D’Abruzzo: Montepulciano is a red wine grape developed in the Abruzzo locale of east Italy. The wines made with Montepulciano grape varietal have botanical and spicy notes. Montepulciano d’Abruzzo wines are delegated as Denominazione di Origine Controllata (DOC). The locale and grape has procured a standing as the most widely exported Wines. The grapes are grown in all the four territories of Abruzzo: l’Aquila, Chieti, Pescara and Terano. 

Vini Fantini: A full bodied wine with the smell of  red fruits and vanilla. Intense red in shading with garnet features. A very even wine with tannins marginally on the higher side with great finish.

Pinotage. Man Vintners

In support of South African wines and wineries. Let’s come together and support the South African wine industry. I’m tasting a Pinotage 2018 ( Blend of 90% Pinotage, 5% Grenache and 5% Cinsault) from Man Family Wines, South Africa. 

MAN Family: Established in 2001 with 3 companions and their spouses. The wines are in the name of their wives. Their wines are delivered by an astonishing group. Some are family and others have become family. The organization is additionally upheld by a gathering of grape cultivators from the Agter Paarl area. A scope of good mixes like Chenin blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and sparkling brut are likewise created by the association. 

Wine: A medium bodied wine with milder Pinot noir like attributes of Pinotage. Ruby red in shading with traces of purple. Exceptional smells of mocha and broiled espresso with kinds of red berries, nutmeg and sort of spice on the sense of taste. The grapes are sourced from Agter Paal grape plantations which gives the wine a fruity character with gentler tannins. The wine is matured in American Oak barrels. The bosstok pinotage develops near the ground, giving it lower yields of concentrated flavourful grapes. The grapes are sourced from the Coastal area.

30 years of excellent winemaking. 1987 to the current day. Viña Montes was brought into the world in 1988 by the incredible commitments of the relative multitude of accomplices with a dream to take Viña Montes to an ever increasing number of nations. An all around thought and very much arranged mission by the association with all the accomplices was chosen to trade their wines in each edge of the world. The organization currently is in a company with several accomplices. A broadened organization working in Chile through Montes Wines and in Argentina through Kaiken Wines. The limited selection is an aggregate work of extraordinary winemaking. 

The Carmenère variant of Montes Wines comes from the Colchagua valley in Chile. Perfectly and completely matured grapes in cold weather. The wine has unique characters in it. The grape plantations are situated in the best terroirs in the Apalta locale.

Wine: A medium bodied wine. Strong on the nose with notes of red and blue berries. Slight hearty notes are there. Spicy and complex with smells of nutmeg. An incredible wine, an extraordinary experience.

Bodega Marqués de Riscal: Established in 1858, the primary Rioja wine to be packaged. Their set of experiences is an account of an organization which changed the viewpoint of winemaking and it kept on changing the universe of wines. Pushing forward during the nineteenth century, the organization delivered various classes of wines and presented significant grape varietals. Towards the beginning of the twentieth century, “The City of Wine” was planned and was initiated in 2006. It’s created to investigate the history of Bodega from its origin to the present day. 

Wine, Winery and Tasting: The winery is situated in Elciego in the south of the Rioja Alavesa. The winery covers all the significant focuses across the zone. “Wine and Tasting”: A light to medium bodied wine with extreme, dark cherry tone. A mix of Tinta de Toro, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is fresh on the palate with causticity on the lower side.

Connoisseur special, Escudo Rojo official Gran Reserva Shield, 2017. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Syrah and Cabernet Franc grape varietals, by Baron Philippe De Rothschild, Chile.

BPDR: In memory of Late, Respected Baroness Philippine De Rothschild, Mathilde Camille, a French vintner. Four extraordinary valleys and six staggering grape assortments. BPDR in the last part of the 1990s chose to make wines in Chile. Having outstanding climatic conditions, Chile’s central district produces wines that uncover the pith of Chilean articulation. 

Tasting: Escudo Rojo is the Spanish interpretation of the German “Rote Schild”. The wine shows genuine spirits of winemaking. Developed in one year old oak barrels for a year. With great notes of red and dark fruits, the wine likewise uncovers notes of espresso. It conveys a slight earthy and smoky note too. A mix of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet franc, 38% carmenere and 20% Syrah. Ground-breaking on the nose and rich on the sense of taste.

Prosecco Brut, Sartori di Verona

Connoisseur speciale, TI Amo Prosecco Brut by Sartori Verona, Veneto, Italy

Sartori Di Verona: The family in 1898 began with purchase of Villa Maria, a grape plantation in the core of Veneto area’s Valpolicella locale. In 1950, the family extended the winery and carried the wines to worldwide acknowledgment. Sartori’s prosperity is in enormous part because of its global endeavors, covering deals through Europe, North and South America and Asia. From 1898-2021, Sartori Di Verona, today is among Veneto’s five major wine makers. 

TI Amo Prosecco: A light bodied Prosecco with light green tones and straw yellow in shading. A dry shining wine. Fruity and nutty on the button with fragile natural product bouquet, suggestive of wild apples and acacia blossoms on the sense of taste. The wine is a 100% mix of “GLERA” grape varietal. A dubious grape on account of its different names. It is a white grape variety of Slovenian origin. A green cleaned grape developed in Veneto with low liquor. GLERA is a profoundly beneficial grape with great corrosiveness and adjusted taste. Cheers everyone!! Stay safe.

Three Peaks, Merlot

Three Peaks, Merlot 2018. Did a little market research, I truly think that I’m the first to taste and expound on this “VINTAGE”. What a beautiful “Label”!! Three Peaks, Merlot 2018 by VSPT Wine group, Chile. I continued swirling it to get the notes again and again. The three peaks are covered for the entire 365 days, situated in Chile’s Central Valley. A phenomenal and extreme developed strawberry and cherry fragrance with cassis and natural notes. I like the boldness in the wine. Dry, delicate and smooth with sharpness on the lower side.

Wine Region: Central Chile, Rapel Valley. Probably the greatest valleys in Chile. The valley adds to a fourth of the nation’s wine creation and it is home to production of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Carménère. 

Chilean Merlot: Low in alcohol, delicate, full bodied with satisfactory sharpness. Chilean Merlot with strong flavors have added to creating fantastic wines.

Principe Di Montaperto, Merlot 2018, Veneto, Italy.

Happy wine Wednesday. Today’s wine tasting. A medium organized wine. Delicate, lovely tannins with notes of red natural products. The winery , “Principe Di Montaperto” is situated in the western piece of Verona, a city in northern Italy’s Veneto locale. 

Venetian Wine: A high profitable wine area in Italy. Veneto locale is quite home to the Prosecco and varietal wines. Both the two wine areas in Italy, the “eastern” and the “western” part, deliver Prosecco, Merlot, Carmenere, Verduzzo, Corvina and Rondinella with a remarkable style. 

IGP ( Indicazione Geografica Protteta) or ( Protected Geographical Indication). IGP wines have a character that is situated between the table and varietal wines. Be that as it may, wines with assignment of birthplace DOP (Denominazione di Origine) (Protected assignment of Origin) follows a specific convention.

De Martino Estate : Arrived in Chile from Italy and set up in 1934. Pietro De Martino chose to search for a one of a kind spot to make the wines he longed for. Pushing ahead the bequest was driven by the third era and led by Pietro Marco and Remo De Martino. Subsequent to going through 80 years into winemaking, today the winery is driven by the fourth era and they are significant in making wines that are exceptional due to the spot, supportability and immaculateness. 

Wine Valley : Maipo, the start of the Chilean wine industry. Considered as the best district for the production of Cabernet Sauvignon. The valley has in excess of 7,302 segments of land that is known for grape manors and most of them are focused on making cabernet sauvignon or cabernet mixes. A paramount wine region with wines created there as far back as 150 years. 

Wine: A 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Matured for 7-9 months in French barrels. A medium bodied wine with smells of dark currant, blueberries and cassis joined with a slight tobacco leaf note. Not all that much acidic and not all that much tart. On the palate it’s new with organic product definition. A phenomenal earthy note with tobacco, caramel and cassis.

Blue Nun, Riesling

Blue Nun Riesling 2016 by F.W. Langguth Erben GmbH & Co.KG, Germany.

One of the most established wine brands. Introduced by H.Sichel Söhne in 1923 with the 1921 vintage which got popular between 1950s and 1980s. After the world war ll, the brand turned out to be terrifically famous in the United States and United Kingdom. During the 1970s they utilized radio promotion which boosted  the deals by 500%. Pushing ahead Blue Nun was obtained by the “MOSEL” based German family firm “LANGGUTH” in 1996. They repositioned the brand by changing the grapes from Müller-Thurgan to 30% Riesling and made the wine less sweet. In 2009, Blue Nun launched Blue Nun gold sparkling wine which contains chips of 24 carat gold.

Riesling Grape:- A white grape assortment which began in the Rhine district. Riesling is a sweet-smelling grape assortment. The riesling grape in the Rhine River area, runs all through pieces of Germany, France, Austria, and Switzerland. 

The wine:- A medium bodied wine. Citrusy on the palate. An uncomplicated wine which became famous everywhere since 1921. Smells of peach, subtropical citrus organic products with fragrance of lavender field in Provence.
