Castello di Montepò: A castle with 55 vineyards for the preservation of the wine culture. The Castello di Montepò in the center of Maremma, is led by Jacopo Biondi Santi. This adventure began when Ferrucio Biondi Santi planted the first Montalcino vineyard, producing Sangiovese GROSSO or BRUNELLO wines from carefully selected Sangiovese CLONE. The method of making wine that was recorded in Italian winemaking history.

Wine: SASSOALLORO, a link between the past and the future, was born with harvest 91. Ruby red in color, with violet-like undertones. Strong aroma with violet hints. The taste is smooth and refined. Made with Sangiovese grosso. A name derived from the volcanic Erratic boulder.
