Started in 1981 by Gianni Masciarelli. The company initiated, after a long reclamation, “Castello di Semivicoli”, a seventeenth century baronial chateau, which is presently a “Relais de Charme” in the grape plantations, a main thrust of the wine industry. Today the organization has 18 labels and five product offerings: Classicline, Gianni Masciarelli, Estate Gemma, Marina Cvetic and Castello di Semivicoli.

Wine: A medium bodied wine made with 100% Montepulciano. Wrapped with unpretentious tannins on the sense of taste. The wine is delivered with fine grapes from the Loreto Aprutino grape plantations. With an extreme ruby red tone, a reclassified bouquet on the button, suggestive of red natural products, Cherries, currants and violets.

𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐟𝐢, praised worldwide as the manufacturers of Brunello. A family owned winemaker situated in Tuscany. They gathered a coterminous domain of 2800 hectares. The family established their Castello Banfi grape plantation domain in Montalcino in 1978.

𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐨 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐲: Placido is a well-known brand among aristocrats and supports the heritage of the 13th century aristocrat Placido dei Placidi. When Siena defeated its rival Florence in the Battle of Montaperti in 1260, the hero of the day was Count Placido Placidi. His passion for wine and cooking is the inspiration for Placido to this day.

𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢 𝐃𝐎𝐂𝐆 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧: Located  in the heart of Italy, in southern Tuscany. Chianti Wine pronounced the unmistakable Sangiovese notes. Stretching 160km from north to south, Chianti  covers much of Tuscany and intersects with some of the region’s most famous appellations. The border of the Chianti region today was formed in 1932. The region became the first DOC in Italy in 1963 and was promoted to DOCG in the 1980s. 

Wine: From the historic 𝐓𝐮𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢 𝐃𝐎𝐂𝐆 𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞. Ruby red with a strong violet scent. It is dry, well-balanced and has a dark fruit flavor. A blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Canaiolo Nero.

TRE Super Tuscan 2017 (Blend of three grape varietals: Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon by Brancaia Winery, Radda, Chianti, Italy.

The Brancaia winery: 40 years of winemaking at the Brancaia winery. Begun in 1981 with the acquisition of BRANCAIA ESTATE, an abandoned winery which was transformed into a worldwide top wine organization. The organization has three domain grape plantations, Brancaia bequest and Poppi both in slopes of CHIANTI CLASSICO and Brancaia in MAREMMA, in the Mediterranean coast. The winery produces phenomenal global blends with exemplary grape varietals. The three ages of the “Widmer” family and the group behind it led to the excellent and phenomenal standing for the organization. 

Wine Region (Tuscany/Tuscan), Geographical sign: One of the most socially rich areas in Italy. The wine district TUSCANY is acclaimed for its art, culture and architecture. A medium bodied wine with fruity and earthy fragrances. Strong on the nose with red natural product flavors. The wine is matured for a year in French tonneaux and concrete. The winery : 1882 to the current day. The notable Tuscan winery by the Piccini family. Established by Angiolo Piccini and his wife Maria Teresa. They purchased 7 hectares of land outside Poggibonsi and made 7 tremendous wine bequests. An account of difficult work, harmony and remarkable winemaking by the four ages of Piccini family. Vini Fantini: A full bodied wine with the smell of  red fruits and vanilla. Intense red in shading with garnet features. A very even wine with tannins marginally on the higher side with great finish.

Happy wine Wednesday. Today’s wine tasting. A medium organized wine. Delicate, lovely tannins with notes of red natural products. The winery , “Principe Di Montaperto” is situated in the western piece of Verona, a city in northern Italy’s Veneto locale. 

Venetian Wine: A high profitable wine area in Italy. Veneto locale is quite home to the Prosecco and varietal wines. Both the two wine areas in Italy, the “eastern” and the “western” part, deliver Prosecco, Merlot, Carmenere, Verduzzo, Corvina and Rondinella with a remarkable style. 

IGP ( Indicazione Geografica Protteta) or ( Protected Geographical Indication). IGP wines have a character that is situated between the table and varietal wines.
