Negroamaro, a dark grape wine varietal that produces ruby red wines and is one of the particular grape wines of Puglia. It is the most common grape varietal of salento in the Puglia region.

IGT (Indicazione Geografica Tipica) (Typical geographical sign), SALENTO: situated in the south most part of Puglia, having long summers and not inflexible winters. The region is home to various grape varieties such as Negroamaro, Primitivo, susumaniello, Malvasia, Verdeca and Fiano.

Tasting notes: A light bodied wine, earthy & smoky on the nose and fruity on the palate with superb surface and structure. Ruby red in color with notes of liquorice, fragrances of dim berries and a long delayed flavor impression.

Castellani Winery

2018 Castellani Principesco, Merlot Terre Sicilia IGT, Italy

Castellani Winery:

Castellani’s business was built up in Montecalvoli towards the end of the nineteenth century. Since 1903 they have been trading their best home wines from Tuscany. The 1966 flood caused a lot of harm to the Montecalvoli winery. During the evening of New Year’s day in 1982 a fire torched the firm premises. It was by all accounts the end, yet inside barely any months the Castellani siblings obtained the Campomaggio Estate.

The Castellani family settled their incredible wines on the way that “the idea of the wine starts in the grape ranch”. The family has attempted to refine the soil sorts and microclimates that update their ‘phenomenal Tuscan plants’.

Allegrini, Bardolino

Allegrini Winery. 2016 Corte Giara Bardolino, Veneto, Italy.

Made on the eastern shores of Lake Garda, in the Veneto area of north-eastern Italy. Bardolino is a fine light red wine of medium force with purple features. A medium bodied wine with notes of red berries and zestiness of pepper & rose hip bloom. Dry and amicable,  it enamors the sense of taste with its class and delicious simple drinking style. Matured for 15 months in a mix of Slavonian oak barrels and second-use barriques, before going through a further half year maturing in the jug preceding delivery.

Grape:- Valpolicella Blend:-

The grapes for this wine are developed in grape plantations arranged in the Eastern morenic slopes of Lake Garda. The Valpolicella Blend depends on three indigenous red-wine grape assortments developed in the Veneto area in Italy’s north east, Corvina/Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara . The Corvinone or Corvina grape is viewed as a particular grape and is permitted to give up to 50 percent of the wine. 35% Rondinella is utilized principally to add shading and body to the mix and offers some natural notes which further complements the delicate heat of Corvina. Extra tannins and new corrosives are given by Molinara.
