Banfi: One of the most well-known wineries in Italy. The Castle Poggio alle mura, more commonly referred to as Castello Banfi, can be found in the center of the magnificent Montalcino region. The history began in 1438.They gathered a 2800-hectare coterminous domain. In 1978, the family established their Montalcino-based Castello Banfi grape plantation domain. Praised worldwide as the manufacturer of Brunello. A family owned winery situated in Tuscany.

Wine: Rosso di Montalcino 2019. A medium bodied wine that has intense aromas of red fruits, followed by coffee, tobacco, licorice, and hazelnuts. Ruby red in color. Crafted entirely from Sangiovese grapes. Vine with a balanced structure and tannins. A pleasant palate finish with orange peel notes.

Wine Tasting: Sassoalloro 2020. The much awaited Sangiovese grosso BBS 11 clone (Brunello Biondi Santi vine n• 11), IGT Toscana, Castello di Montepò by Jacopo Biondi Santi.

Castello di Montepò: A castle with 55 vineyards for the preservation of the wine culture. The Castello di Montepò in the center of Maremma, is led by Jacopo Biondi Santi. This adventure began when Ferrucio Biondi Santi planted the first Montalcino vineyard, producing Sangiovese GROSSO or BRUNELLO wines from carefully selected Sangiovese CLONE. The method of making wine that was recorded in Italian winemaking history.

Wine: SASSOALLORO, a link between the past and the future, was born with harvest 91. Ruby red in color, with violet-like undertones. Strong aroma with violet hints. The taste is smooth and refined. Made with Sangiovese grosso. A name derived from the volcanic Erratic boulder.

Bertani Estate: Founded in 1857 in the heart of Valpolicella’s Quinto di Valpantena, or “Valley of the Gods.” Over 200 hectares of vineyards in the province of Verona are managed by the company. The company has two cellars and vineyards in the Valpantena classico and an estate in the Soave and Lake Garda area that are known for producing Venetian wines. Bertani is the first Italian company to use investments and cutting-edge viticulture to improve wine bottling. From Soave to Lugana, the regions extend from Valpolicella classica to Valpantena.

Wine: A full bodied wine made from 80% Corvina, 10% Sangiovese grosso, 5% Syrah, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are grown in the Grezzana area. Ruby red in intensity and concentration, with aromas of red and black berry. A wine with balanced tannins, well structured, soft, warm, and elegant.

Wine Tasting:

Over 1200 hectares of vineyards and 1.7 million bottles have been produced by the company. The orsogna vineyard extends into the homonymous municipality’s boundaries and into a few neighboring nations. One of the most well-known wines in Italy and all over the world is Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC. It is the most important wine region and has always served as Abruzzo’s global ambassador since its DOC was established in 1968.
